When it comes to gifts on a budget, one of my favorite things to look for are designer dupes. A Chanel beanie can run you anywhere from $500-$1,000+. But on the other hand a dupe can be as a cheap as $20.

The realities of changing looks during a shoot is actually a hassled mess. It’s changing in public bathrooms, a pop-up changing tent (what Shelly uses and carries around for us), changing in cars, or even changing in the wide open streets. I’ve done all of these except for change in a car, but a lot of people and influencers have to do this during NYFW.

I could never get myself to go running through the streets of Manhattan regularly- even though I consider myself a long-distance runner. In my mind, a flashback of an episode of RHONY comes to mind when I think of a true New Yorker in their element working out- the Real Housewife of New York (only for 2 seasons) Kelly Killoren-Bensimon, in her debut episode running through- wait no, weaving through yellow taxis outside. To me, that is just actually terrifying knowing how aggressive traffic is in NYC and how no one even pays attention even when they are walking. A shoulder shove from a texting walker vs a car wheel rolling over your foot is a very big difference. I went running by the water and through Central Park a few times, but you would never catch me running through traffic.

Tonight was going to be the second concert performed by the Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.
