leading up to this we were on our feet 24/7. I was very excited to take a leisurely boat ride – (or what we thought would be leisurely- we were in for a surprise). I understand why the peak vacation season is in the summer because our experience in March was cold and rainy. Might I also say semi miserable?
Although there were high-speed winds, spouts of rain, and no sunshine, l did not let that literally rain on my outfit parade.
My Look
A jumpsuit cover-up really elevates this look with its various details: Slits on the sides of the legs, gold coins, and gold details throughout. This one-piece was super easy to throw on and very breathable.
In the spirit of beachwear and European style, my accessories reflected vintage luxury and a POP of color

On the boat, there were traditional Greek dancers and other forms of entertainment.
We got off the boat briefly to explore the local town. Streets were filled with large cobblestones and quaint coastal shops. I purchased some of the local pistachio butter, it is perfectly sweet without the high-fat content that most dessert butters hold.

What are the Sardonic Islads?
These islands are part of the Aegean Sea between the northeastern coasts of Peloponnese. You can get there by a ferry ride from the Greek capital, or a full-on cruise ship like us. According to Greeka.com: “Poros is great for sailing, Hydra has amazing architecture, Spetses stands out for the elegant mansions and Aegina is ideal for family vacations.”
The “typical” vacation season for most Greek islands starts in April and ends in October. The peak holiday season is from early July to the end of the summer when the temperature is pristine.
