The anticipation before the show is always exciting and invigorating. Scanning the room you will typically see a familiar face or two. Snapping a few pictures with the professional photographers before the runway is officially revealed is the perfect time to also see what others are wearing. From jealousy thinking “why didn’t I think to wear that” and or taking quick mental and or actual notes in your phone for future looks.

The Styles that Came Across the Runway
The show started off with a deep sunset beaming across the backdrop. Setting the scene for these bright and airy looks with whites, pastels, and flowy styles. The menswear complicated the womenswear open shirts billowing with hoods. These looks flowed into the next set of pastel looks with a twist. There were macrame skirts, headpieces, and more. The detail was eyecatching with every step that the models took.

Men’s Looks

At this point in the show, a beam of confident colors came strutting across the runway. Various fabric patches, ruffles, monochrome color palettes, and headpieces appeared. I am always a fan of monochrome and colors and am open to all color palettes. Leaf Xia completed each look with intricate eye makeup.

The following collection had the best shoes in my opinion. They were small heels and sandals with exaggerated square heels on the back, with accompanying square pieces added to the front of the shoes as well. They were paired with cut-out sun hats, cut-out patterns, and neutral earth-toned flowing pieces. Eye-catching face coverings that embodied fencing face covers were also featured.
