I Heart New York + A Boyfriend in a Matching Outfit

June 2, 2019 0 Comments

Always be thankful for a boyfriend who puts up with all of the photos that you force him to take of you, and force him to be in hehe.

Such a simple logo takes over the streets of New York everyday amongst various tourist merchandise. You can typically find this tourist merch in Midtown or Chinatown in large abundances. I, heart symbol, New York. We all wish we could have trademarked this back in the day.

To be honest I would not advise anyone to ever purchase the shirts that we are wearing. They are very thin, and after one wash the shirt will either shrink into a child size shirt, or the logo will be erased away. But, at least you can barter down the price of these at most street carts. They will not be costing you a pretty penny. Possibly the shirts online might hold a higher quality standard.

But let’s get to the real topic here: Couple influencers looking cute in NYC

Olivia Rink and John Philp Thompson had this super adorable Instagram of them in Times Square, so I wanted my boyfriend and I to try and duplicate this while he was in town visiting.

Of course our photo looked nothing like this as there is not as significant of a height difference between my boyfriend Pat and I, nor were we planning on getting this picture at night. It is harder than it looks to get up on one shoulder and balance without falling! If they got this image on one of the first tries, life just is not fair. Funny story, my pants actually ripped in the crotch area right as I was trying to get up on his shoulder. These were my first time wearing these pants too…I guess you cannot expect too much from Rachel Zoe wide leg pants that were on the sale rack at the Lord and Taylor Flagship Liquidation sale.

Proof of some ripped pants in action:

People also were just freely walking by us while we were trying to get this shot, (although this happens everywhere) you always wish that they would just wait 10 seconds for us to just finish the photo before getting in the background of it. After a few takes of nearly falling, we finally got some good shots of Pat just carrying me as well.

Some true struggle shots:

Long distance relationships are never easy, but you make every moment count when you can be together. Also always be thankful for a boyfriend who puts up with all of the photos that you force him to take of you, and force him to be in hehe.
