A look of London in Central Park

A look of London in Central Park

Newsboy, paperboy, bakerboy, fisherman, cabby, or sailor hat, this trend has many shapes and names. With each style varying slightly in the volume of the cinching fabric at the top of the hat, you can find which look fits your style and hair type. These caps jumped into the fashion scene and were quickly in every fast-fashion and high end retailer. Knowing that I would not wear this hat more than once or twice, I went to Forever 21 to find one that would have a price tag under $20.00. Other retailers also carried this hat at an affordable price: Target, Nasty Gal, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Madewell, Saks, Revolve, Express, DSW, the list honestly could go on for days. With online shopping, you also have no excuse not to try out this look!

I decided to give my look a little hint of a “London Vibe” with this red vertical striped pantsuit that I found at Burlington Coat Factory (And no they do not only sell coats! Don’t worry I though that too at one point). The Burlington on 6th Ave never fails to let me leave without a bag in hand! There is somewhat of a hunt just as there is in TJ Maxx Or Marshall’s. Fun fact their headquarters are in Burlington New Jersey — I had the opportunity to interview with them totally blew it! I did not do any research before, but they were impromptu interviews for the National Retail federation’s Big Show, and now moving to NYC I know New Jersey would not have been for me!

Although it was honestly freezing in Central Park this week in March, I braved the brisk air and strolled around the park. I just loved this look because it was put together, and easy to plan out — aka why you can never go wrong with a pantsuit because in one moment you become fully dressed.
