Zara has an amazing turn around when it comes to the speed at which they change the product assortment on their floor pads. I swear that every weekend there is something new… and I want I️t all. Within seconds I️t becomes so easy to fill your hands with what you want.
My entire outfit is from Zara, aside from the boots. Working in a lingerie buying office, I’ve been really interested in lace and sheer bodysuits lately. This short-sleeve bodysuit really caught my eye with the way that the fabric extends off of the sides. I wanted to show off the sheer element to it, so I just wore a black bralette that I already owned underneath it. There were also pops of red merchandises all over, and I was strangely in love with this fake leather skirt. It’s literally so plastic looking and feeling that I️t reminds me of a rain coat material. The selling point for me was that I️t is lined on the inside to give I️t a sense of warmth, and the elastic waist band made I️t easy to get off and on. (I hate so many cheap fast fashion zippers as they end up breaking or snagging after a few wears).
The whole purpose of this trip to Zara was to find a newsboy hat..but by no surprise my “yes” pile of clothes did not include a newsboy hat. Because I couldn’t find one, I swapped I️t out for the pearled Beret.
I️t was a nice day out, so I featured the look in Central Park.
