Brookfield place is a little piece of architecture heaven. I had seen a handful of corporate buildings in New York from school trips, but nothing compared to this. The best part about it? The head to toe marble, luxury shops, an area of palm trees that makes you feel as if you just stepped in Boca Raton, and an array of yachts docked outside. You spend 9+ hours at work a day, so the least a company can do is make it enjoyable. The best part is that this is connected to The World Trade Center, so if the weather is ever not cooperating, you can comfortably walk inside to your train.

HBC recently moved to these offices, and share the building with financial firms, banks, and real estate. I️ work for Lord and Taylor, and inside there are very open floor plans, with everything in the interior a shade of white. Windows cover almost all of the walls, and best of all from a few conference rooms you can even see Lady Liberty.

Lunch outside is always the best escape from being in the office for too long. It also has been a staple location for Instagrams. With the sun shining down, the water front background, and a newly purchased phone with Portrait Mode, I️t is a win-win situation.
