I adore when pieces have unique attributes in the back. Therefore, I fell in love with this Hanky Panky After Midnight piece due to the large ribbon in the back. My hair is pinned up in a ballerina bun to show off the detail.
Initially I thought I would pair it with a solid black long sleeve, but then I realized that the details did not contrast enough with a black background. I paired this bralette with a white sheer Elie Tahari button down, and added in the black with my ruffle pants. My work has a casual dress code, so I took the comfortable route and finished the look with my favorite Steve Madden sneakers. The sparkly maroon stripe and pearl and a unique and glamorous touch. They were a return at Saks OFF Fifth, and I honestly cannot find them anywhere online.
Bralette’s are such a huge trend, that just keep on growing. For smaller chested gals like myself I personally prefer bralettes over bras. There is no need to have a pointy wire against your skin all day, when instead you can easily relax with a loose bralette.
So take a look in your closet, and find a bralette that you too can layer with something to wear throughout the day versus just wearing your bralette as a bra!
